French Breakfast Muffins

These taste just like cinnamon cake doughnuts.

1  1/2 cup + 2 Tbs. flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup melted butter
1 beaten egg

Blend dry ingredients together in a bowl.
Beat the egg add milk and butter with a wisk
Mix dry and wet ingredients.
Spray-oil coat muffin pan.
I make 10, but it will make a dozen smaller muffins.

Convection Bake 375 for 15 minutes
Conventional oven 400 for 20 minutes.

Topping:
3 Tbs. melted butter with 1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 sugar with 1/2 tsp. cinnamon


When they are slightly cooled dip each muffin top into butter/vanilla mixture.
then into the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Serve warm.
